About Maisa

I am a unique and beautiful marble stone, with a brilliant mirror-like shine. I am a resilient and sturdy rock, forged in the distant geological past, around 500 million years ago during the Paleozoic era. When the roaring ocean waters embraced my particles, they nurtured me like a pearl in a shell, and their waves danced around me like the wind through golden fields of wheat. My existence stems from the earliest and oldest forms of life, such as shells, corals, and lifeless skeletons of beautiful, colorful, and unyielding creatures like trilobites, brachiopods, bivalves, and various types of algae. I’ve recorded them, like pages in the book of time, as if it was nature’s will to preserve them as a testament to their existence. Their lives in those ancient times echo through every particle of my being.

I, like a loving mother, have safeguarded them within the threads of my structure, cradling them in my warm embrace. After countless eons of enduring the relentless tides and successive movements of the sea, I ultimately re-crystallized under the pressures and heat of diagenesis, becoming even stronger and more resilient than before. Over time, as I endured the pressures of mountain-building forces and the transformative effects of geological processes, I underwent changes that made me into a unique marble stone.

I emerged in this era to display myself and all the living beings that exist within me for everyone to see and understand the boundless power, the power that created everything from nothing. In this way, I became “Maisa.”
